After 36 years treating Orofacial pain in Moorpark, Dr. Rick Borquez has relocated to Westlake Village, CA to limit his practice to the treatment of TMJ, Neuropathic Pain and Sleep disorders.

Dr. Borquez has extensive training in treating TMJ, Facial Pain, Headaches, Sleep Apnea and Snoring disorders. He is board certified (one of three) in the Santa Barbara/Ventura counties with a Diplomate status from the American Board of Orofacial Pain, www.abop.org. He also has a Fellow status from the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, www.aaop.org. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, www.aadsm.org.

Dr. Borquez also has been teaching for 10 years at the USC Dental School Orofacial Pain Clinic, instructing post-graduate dental students in all aspects of orofacial pain and sleep disorders. Dr. Borquez has also been an expert witness for numerous cases related to traumatic TMJ  injuries and Jaw Nerve injuries. Dr. Borquez will continue serving all patients from the Santa Barbara /Ventura county areas
